More specifically, what has social media told us about students? Off the top of my head, I can tell you this: They love social networking. They love advanced technology. If there’s an app that makes any simpler than it already is, they’ll download it. For example, the Facebook Messaging app. In fact, it’s comparable to a dying need. One interesting fact in this infographic by OnlineEducation.net, 98% of college students own a digital device and 38% of those students say they can’t go more than 10 minutes without using a digital device. Which is why I see it as a dying need. Positively enough, there is some good news. Take a look.
