What Geospatial Knowledge and Skills Should College Graduates Have?

At one time the thought was that a full course in GIS or geospatial technologies was the way to go for college students, even for non-geospatial majors. Now, with so many other topics crowding the learners plate, there’s a move toward the use of technology and thinking across the curriculum. But the key question remains: What geospatial ideas and skills should students leaving college know?
