Self-Sufficient RE:Villa Floating Island Concept Recycles Coastal Pollution Into Building Material

Together with a naval architect and a building engineer, WHIM architecture is developing an island prototype that employs recycled coastal pollution as building material. The RE:Villa would be constructed from recycled plastic and be completely self-sufficient, featuring renewable energy as well as plenty of greenery from ground to rooftop. WHIM architecture is basing the construction of this endeavor on the principles of yacht building, fusing those ideas with building engineering with naval architecture.
