Space and Consciousness applied to geography. The right place to live and build. It's all related to virtual particles and particle physics.
In design, whether fashion, web sites, interiors etc. there is the element of place with its positive and negative spaces. This is even more interesting now that physicists have discovered that space is never truly empty; as Matthew Everett put it, “space is teeming with virtual particles waiting to be called into existence.”

Places have certain powers and energies that we can tune into; that we can develop awareness of; and, as an axiom there are right uses of place or right places to do something that we can learn to sense, even if we have no individual will over it. A right place to do something could be, for example, the right place to write a book; or to develop a business or career; or to raise a family; or to retire to. For instance Eckhart Tolle, in A New Earth, speaks of his awareness that the right place in which to write his book was Vancouver, Canada. He speaks of “the space in which (a) thought happens.”
