Teaching Your Child to Love Reading

A love of books is a life long asset. But getting your kids to read can be difficult. Here are some tips to help your child learn to enjoy reading.

Is getting your child to read harder than pulling teeth? Do you regularly hear "I don't want to!" or "Reading is boring!" If so, you're not alone. A lot of kids would rather visit the dentist than read a book. A love of books is a life long asset. Children who enjoy books are better overall students. But in the age of electronics, it can be hard to convince your kids to read a book amid distractions of video games and Facebook. But with a few simple steps you can teach your child to love reading.
